








The Human Performance Project was created out of frustration at the lack of understanding
of true health and fitness. We grew tired of watching people of all ages come
into whatever fitness gym they choose and proceed over to the bicep curl
machines and other such single muscle-group isolation machines.
The Human Performance Project was designed to embrace true fitness. We offer a wide array of fitness
programming. Whether your goals are just
to improve in GPP (General Physical Preparedness…aka “CrossFit”) or to become a
more explosive, powerful athlete with specific sport-based goals, HPP will be
able to accommodate your needs.
We are not claiming to have “reinvented
the fitness-wheel.” We are merely trying
to offer a work ethos that we believe is lacking when it comes to fitness and
how we treat/utilize our bodies.
Everyone who walks through the door is expected to perform actual work. The trainers at HPP believe that "Nothing is FREE!" There is also no compassion or patience for
the lazy, or those just wishing to "Maintain the status quo."
Human Performance is an
ever-changing concept. Your body is
always in a constant state of flux (peaks/plateaus) in different facets of
fitness and in life. Being able to
identify your weaknesses and embrace them is key in being able to fully utilize
the programs here at HPP.
